The Challenge
Marysville needed better information about parking in its Uptown district, both to help drivers find open spaces and to manage two-hour time limits effectively.
The Deployment
Fybr installed in-ground sensors across Uptown's on-street spaces. Drivers see open spaces through the Marysville Parking app, while the city's police division uses Fybr's enforcement app to identify vehicles that have exceeded posted time limits.
The city also uses occupancy data to inform planning, including decisions about potential off-street parking and alternate uses for existing spaces. Fybr meets regularly with city staff to review the data.
"Fybr's sensor technology has brought significant improvements to our parking enforcement operations in Marysville. Instead of relying on traditional methods, our police division now utilizes Fybr's parking enforcement app, which provides real-time, accurate data. This has made our team incredibly efficient and effective in the field. Beyond the innovative technology, Fybr's support team has been outstanding, consistently responsive and reliable."
