The Program
LA Express Park is the City of Los Angeles' intelligent parking management program. The program combines parking space vehicle sensors, new meter technology, real-time parking guidance and an integrated parking management system to adjust meter rates based on demand, with the goals of increasing parking availability and reducing congestion and cruising for parking.
Fybr's Role
Fybr has provided occupancy data in Los Angeles since 2011. The original sensors have since been upgraded to Fybr's current generation, and Fybr's installation design allows sensors to be replaced without new core drilling.
